| During the 2006/2007 school year, the Art Institute of McKinney and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Collin County (BGCCC) parntered to offer weekly art education programming for students who were members of the clubs. Blynda and Amanda taught at the McKinney branch on Wednesday afternoons, working with an average of 35-50 students per week. | |||
| It is the hope that not only will the McKinney branch program be renewed and continued in the future, but both AIM and BGCCC hope to expand this program into Plano and Frisco. In order for this to happen, however, funding is necessary. It costs $150 to sponsor a child through the AIM scholarship and BGCCC program.
