Artist's Passion:
After moving to McKinney, I became an active member of the oldest art club in Texas. I've served as its president for several years, in addition to overseeing our adult art shows. I have returned to oils, painting in the Flemish method, and have grown fond of my new love, egg tempera.

Artist's Passion: I'm very interested in the emotional response that art evokes. I'm fascinated by the latent communication and emotional connection that occurs between artist and viewer. I enjoy the process of capturing an emotional or spiritual movement through symbols and images that inspire viewer interpretation.

Artist's Passion: Printmaking is a very physical art form; therefore I become intimately connected to every image I develop. Creating a work of art brings a level of joy and spirituality to my life that can be found in few other places.

Artist's Way

Artist's Passion: Without being completely conscious of it, I have woven artistic expression throughout my entire life. Creativity has such power and influence in the way I approach life. Art, being one way of expressing that creativity , is my opportunity to simultaneously look inward and reach outward. Both processes become a frolicking adventure of discovery. I enjoy the freedom of thinking "outside the box", for most of my life has been spent compromising to fit within the box. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but for me, the trick is to have faith in the process. Impart, because things aren't always what they seem.

Carol Williams

Artist's Passion: As a child, I was mesmerized by an aunt who was an artist. I was inspired by her ability to recreate her surroundings through her art, and have loved to draw my entire life. After my children were raised, I was able to pursue my interest and enroll in art classes. I am most comfortable painting with watercolors and sketching, but I enjoy the challenge of learning and working with the other mediums as well.
