Blynda Christian - Founder/Executive Director

With 30 years of teaching experience, Blynda founded the Art Institute of McKinney with the desire to educate students of all ages about the arts. Blynda holds a degree in studio arts from McNeese State University. She is a portrait artist and works primarily in oils.

Amanda Sayle Kelly- Assistant Executive Director

Amanda has been teaching children for six years, first in a children's museum and now at AIM. With a degree in studio art and museum studies from Baylor University, Amanda is now working toward her masters in art education at the University of North Texas. Amanda is a printmaker and paints in acrylics. Amanda taught studio classes at AIM for four years and served as studio coordinator. She is now serving as the public relations liason, maintaining the website and writing newsletters.
