Summer Camp 2009

Summer camps are back at the Art Institute of McKinney!

Mrs. Amanda is offering two weeks of summer camp fun starting June 15. This year's theme will be:

Trash to Treasure: "Green" Art

How can we create art that is not only beautiful and fun to make, but also environmentally friendly?
Find out during our summer art camps! Create drawings, paintings, jewelry, 3-D designs
and other works of art out of recycled materials!

There will be two weeks of elementary summer camps and one afternoon camp for teens.
One afternoon elementary camp will be opened if both morning camps are filled.
The cost is $150 for the week and includes supplies and a snack.
Location: McKinney Performing Arts Center Artist's Studio

The schedule is listed below. Students will go home with completed art projects each day.

*Registration and payment must be made in advance to ensure your child's place in the camp. Due to the small numer of camps being offered, we will not be able to hold places if payment is not received in advance.
